Edinburgh has a range of inexpensive and mid range priced bars. Even in the centre of town it is possible to have a bottle of beer or a pint 50 cls for under £3 aound 3.5 euros or 4.5 dollars. Whiskey in most places is even cheaper as are many spirits. When drinking spirits it is often the mixer that will increase the price so try and get a can of coke with your drink and this will do two drinks.
